The Club members are target and field archery orientated. The field side consists of a 20 target range of unmarked distance as laid down by NFAS. Practice butts 20, 30 and 40 yards with safety stop nets available for practice and instruction only. All members are insured by NFAS when they become a member of Doverdale Bowmen. All safety measures are practised at all times with the emphasis on younger members.
To members of Doverdale Bowmen, Courses ‘A’ and ‘B’ are now complete with new target butts. The full course now consists of 36 targets with Big Game faces. Pegs and markers are in place to guide people around the course. All targets are safe with some very challenging shots. Good shooting !
There is a target range for anyone wishing to practice distances from 20 to 90 metres.
